Role: Regional Sales (Location: Delhi - near CP)

  • Location: Delhi (near CP)
  • Experience: 3-5 years in sales

  • Education: Minimum Graduate
  • Industry: Any sec 08 company / trust / federation / council, etc.
  • Report to: Regional Manager
  • Skills needed:
    1. Expert in regional language – should be able to converse in minimum 4-5 languages including Hindi and English
    2. Should have experience of working on target numbers – b2b sales
    3. Should be ready to travel almost 20 days a month
    4. Good convincing skills
    5. Changing purchase patterns of end consumers
    6. Building store identity
    7. Gold loans and hedging
  • Roles / Responsibilities:
    1. Targeted sales and acquiring new clients
    2. Meet and greet existing members/clients to increase the pocket share
    3. Touch base with existing members/clients to educate them on other company upcoming event for sponsorships, participation entries, enrolments, etc.
    4. Represent GJC in exhibitions/industry events
    5. Travel and explore new territories to expand GJC reach
    6. Liaison with other depts., Zonal Chairman and other members for other GJC events/exhibitions/shows/seminars, etc.
    7. Organize events in coordination with the Regional Manager, negotiate and coordinate with vendors and work with the team to execute a successful and profitable event.
    8. Team up for other GJC events

  • Skills needed:
    1. Expert in regional language – Should understand/speak multiple south languages – Tamil, Malayalam, Kanada, Tullu along with Hindi and English
    2. Should have experience of working on target numbers – b2b sales
    3. Should be ready to travel almost 20 days a month
    4. Good convincing skills

Marketing & Communications Lead

  • Location:
  • Relevant - Experience: 9 Years in similar profile
  • Education: MBA / Post Graduation in Marketing / Communications / Public Relations / Media
  • Report to: Secretary
  • Key Responsibilities:

    · To Increase the share of voice of GJC through digital platforms, government interactions, social media, events/exhibitions/conferences, Public Relations, etc.

    · To ensure delivery of information pertaining to the issues of Gems & Jewellery  Industry on Chairman's advice to the Government

    · To strategize with team and to generate revenue from publications, website and mobile app.

    · To meet, discuss and plan PR agency and media during the press meets and ensure national and regional coverages via team

    · To oversee communications being send on various projects

    · To administer hygiene and quality of the content being worked upon as a voice of the Industry

    · To ensure providing optimum communication from the empaneled agencies as per the approved budget

    · To develop GJC Brand Manual in coordination with internal team and agencies

    · To activate new & innovative communications platforms for GJC

    · To ensure Content planning, coordination & briefing the Agency to roll out the Magazine on a quarterly basis

    · To increase the visibility and visits on GJC Website, FB page and Twitter account

    · To keep a track on innovations used in Social media / digital platforms

    · To prepare and execute GJC communication tools and means in the given time lines

    · To draft content for emailers, sms communication, etc. at the time of events/ conferences, etc. and send the mass mailers and mass sms though the agencies as planned during events

    · To create Social Media content development and monitoring

  • Desired Profile:

    · Creative and an eye for details

    · Good negotiator

    · Excellent in developing and maintaining contacts

    · Good spoken and written communication

    · Tactical while dealing with vendors

    · Ability to work under pressure

    · Preferred if comfortable while using photoshop, coral draw or any of the designing tools.
